Track Name: Shoulders of Stones
So many stones
scattered across the beach.
Some smoother,
some in reach.
Others away
for more than a day,
but I was led astray
by the brightest of rays.

So I picked one up
a while ago.
The beach now sand,
recently covered in snow,
produced a pebble,
no longer a rebel.
Release the treble.

I like the beach
and I like its stones:
they keep me company
when I'm stuck at home.
But there's so many,
not wanting just any,
and the ones who send me
are the stones
the defend me.

Why shouldn't I
be satisfied?
I've got the best dreams
when I hit the night.
The sand feels hot
under my cold feet,
'cause who knows what stones
I will someday meet.

And we are all standing on the pyramid of shoulders,
waiting for the smoothest stone
and for our apple
to fall.
